About Us

3CR is a dynamic, community hub that has produced radio since 1976. Currently we have over 400 volunteers, broadcasting around 120 radio programs every week. We have 20 community language shows in 13 different languages, and 10 hours of Indigenous programming. 

We are located in Melbourne, Australia and listeners can tune in on 855AM, 3CR Digital, stream live online and can access audio on demand or download podcasts of our shows.

3CR is financially independent, relying on memberships and donations for financial support. We do not advertise, nor do our programmes rely on commercial sponsorship.
